From October 12 to 14 will be held in Bogotá a new edition of Colombia 3.0, the summit of digital content where the international experts, speakers and enthusiasts of innovation get together to discuss about trends of the digital world.
In this regard we spoke with Juanita Rodriguez Kattah, manager of Digital Content and Apps.co (initiatives of the ICT MInistry), who told us some details of which she qualifies as the largest digital content summit of Latin America.
"This year Colombia 3.0 evolves, so we decided to change the place where we make our summit," says Juanita Rodriguez, who notes that the event took that much importance in recent years, so it had to be moved to Corferias, where attendance of over 17,000 visitors are expected.
During the three days of Colombia 3.0, 140 national and international experts will conduct 14 workshops and 170 lectures focused on creativity and innovation. These spaces are free for all attendees, however, a pre register on the website of Colombia 3.0 is required. The summit Colombia 3.0 will take place in Bogotá.
One of the most prominent pavilions of Colombia 3.0 this year is the one dedicated to animation, which is ready to receive about 2,500 attendees. In addition, the event will have spaces dedicated to video games, entrepreneurship, monetization, digital advertising and media spaces.
Strengthening entrepreneurship
As part of efforts to strengthen entrepreneurship in Colombia, recently it opened the Startup Team, a government initiative that brings together some of the most important digital companies in the country.
Juanita Rodriguez explained that the Startup Team Colombia has three main objectives: to make visible the great local entrepreneurs, support the growth and internationalization of enterprises and generate discussions about economy collaborative in the country.
The group consists of 16 digital companies which record sales of more than 71,000 million pesos and count with users of more than 122 countries.
The selected team for the Team Startup Colombia are: 1doc3, Ascendo, Fluvip, Greencode, Hogaru, Las Partes, Mensajeros Urbanos, PinBus, Platzi, Rappi, Sarta, Soma, Tappsi, Transmisitp, Undertrail y Vendty.
