Colombian entertainment content is part of MIPCOM

As every year, the international entertainment content industry come together at MIPCOM, a space in which besides presenting trends in the sector, thousands of companies set appointments to conduct business alliances and agreements.

Colombia is present at this fair with 10 companies of audiovisual content, firms that traveled to Cannes (France) to show that Colombia is betting on turning the creative industry into an engine of economic development. The list of Colombian companies participating in MIPCOM 2016 is as follows: Metro TV Ltda, INCOMSA Primetime Media, Salabi, 7GLab, Centauro, Digitz Films, the Diana, Eleven Productions, Zebracom. Colombian creative content industry generates more than 700.000 jobs. 

The MIPCOM fair expects to receive about 14,000 visitors. In addition, more than 2,000 companies will exhibit its range of television content to thousands of buyers.

Data from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNTACD), point out that creative and content industries contribute 3.3% to the Colombian Gross Domestic Product and create more than 700,000 jobs.
