During the first weeks of September 100 Colombian companies specialized in Information Technology (IT) traveled to the United States to seek their next big opportunity. Everything took place under the 'Business Matchmaking Forum' stop tour of Colombia Bring It On. which seeks to bring the best ideas, the most innovative country in technology, to showcase their ideas to the world and, of course achieve business alliances with it.
One of the participants was the company Allbreaker, specializing in two issues are global technology trend: virtual reality and augmented reality. Its CEO, Omar Vanegas Vallejo, was closing alliances and new projects in Miami.
"We achieved good contacts with companies in Los Angeles and other cities in the United States, on issues of augmented reality, virtual reality and 'beacons'" said Vallejo on its way through the event. On the subject of virtual reality they managed a deal to develop tools for architecture "are applications where we do virtual tours of spaces to build, that works as a sales tool. Videos are 360 degrees for the Latino community, "he explains about it. Allbreaker has a new project related to a virtual reality
About augmented reality, Allbreaker has a new project underway related entertainment "is an application to generate contextual info by proximity, is extra content generated in augmented reality," says Omar on the treatment achieved with a company in Los Angeles.
In the field of entertainment they have two more related to virtual reality games bets. The first born of a doubt "which leaves her children when Godzilla will destroy cities?", With that in mind comes a title that must manage a nursery full of monsters. This includes care for them, feed them and collect food for them.
That project is "70 percent of its programming and development, 40 percent in the graphic theme," says Omar. Added to this, its second project is an "experience in an abandoned hospital, an experience of terror to Oculus". Thanks to trip to Miami could get a company with experience in the topic will review the application. "Having someone who worked on 'Hellraiser' reviewing the project is wonderful," concludes Vanegas on the subject.
On the current state of Allbreaker, Omar states that are at the level of US production of virtual reality: "Basically, the major difference with EE. UU. is that they have projects (...) the more projects you have, you're going to improve, learn by doing. In Colombia the disadvantage is that there is sufficient demand and opportunities. Let me give an example, not build on any statistic, whether in the United States have five projects in Colombia have only one."
As for the experience he has gained the developer group with past projects, Omar stressed that "With health learned that virtual reality must take place in a specific context of the end user. Not to VR VR is not put any 'thingy' and now. According to the user specific content they are developed ".
Finally, through the eyes of an experienced group like Allbreaker, Omar says augmented reality is much further than the virtual reality: "AR is better than VR, this because the virtual reality isolates, while increased complements our reality".
With projects in architecture, entertainment and games, using platforms such as Oculus, HTC Vive, Samsung Gear VR and Google Cardboard, Allbreaker continues to seek ways to shape this and all possible realities through virtual reality and augmented reality.
